This vegetarian gyro features delicious cauliflower and spicy cilantro harissa to make a street food favorite!
Ingredients:
Pita
Spicy Cauliflower: ¼ head cauliflower, a few mushrooms, 2 tbsp @purspice Cilantro
Harissa, ¼ small onion chopped, ¼ green pepper chopped
1 cup shredded cabbage, carrots, and romaine mixed with lime juice
Pickled onions & radishes (recipe for pickling on my stories)
1 tbsp crumbled feta cheese
½ cup hummus
¼ cup chopped cucumber and tomatoes
Method:
In a pan, add 1 tbsp olive oil and cook the cauliflower for a few minutes. Mix in the onion, mushrooms, and green pepper.
Keep the flame on low heat and add some salt to taste and 2 tbsp of PUR cilantro harissa. Mix to combine and set aside.
Heat the pita up and spread some hummus on it. Then add the cauliflower mixture. Top with the rest of the ingredients and enjoy!
