Sweet corn cooked down with our savory flavorful Masala Paste for the perfect dish!
Ingredients:
Oil of choice
1 tbs cumin seeds
1/2 onion
Corn on the cob (4)
Salt and pepper
Chili pepper (if desired)
Lemon juice
1 lime
Method:
Heat about 1tbs of neutral oil in a large pot and add about 1tbs of cumin seeds
Once the seeds start popping, chop 1/2 an onion and add, as well as kernels of 1 corn roughly chopped
Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until softened
Add in 3/4 jar of Masala Paste and continue cooking for about 7-8 minutes on medium low
Stir in 1 cup of water and add in pieces of 2-3 whole corn cobs (depending on size, cut into two pieces)
Add salt to taste and chili pepper powder if desired
Cover and continue cooking for about 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally
Finish with lemon juice and chopped lime
